Should I substitute oscam with one compiled by me?

Using IPC on Debian Squeeze and running with oscam downloaded trough IPC panel
well I would like to test oscam realesed by Dax with some patch
should I substitute this one to the original one from IPC??

If you want to try, you have to substitute it.
have a look at /var/emu/oscam/
The name of the new oscam-file has to be "oscam.x86"
